Meaningful Work as Moderator of Work Engagement and Transformational Leadership in Job Crafting
This descriptive quantitative study delves into the intricate dynamics between Job crafting, work engagement, transformational leadership, and the moderate role of meaningful work in an organizational context. In addition, this study investigates how the moderating effect of meaningful work affects the impact of work engagement and transformational leadership on job craft. Data was collected through surveys provided to diverse employees across industries. Quantitative measures to assess job crafting, level of job engagement, transformational leadership, and presence of meaningful work experience as moderators were carried out using SEM-PLS 3.3.3 in 2023. The findings showing a positive correlation between job engagement and job crafting suggest that employees who actively modify their job roles tend to show higher levels of engagement, as demonstrated by the validity between 0.736 – 0.833 and reliability test results between 0.935 – 0.969. Hypothesis test, the results show that from 4 hypotheses, work engagement rejected on job crafting moderated by meaningful work, with a value of 0.347 greater than 0.005.
