Methodology to improve productivity in a textile company through improving the recruitment and selection process of human resources using Kanban and Digital Transformation.
Micro, small and medium-sized companies represent the main engine of economic development in the world since they constitute 90% of established companies, contributing 50% of GDP and 70% of formal employment; In Peru there are similar figures since SMEs constitute 95% of formal companies and provide more than 85% of formal employment. There are various productive sectors in Peru, among which the textile and clothing sector stands out, which contributes 7.2% of the gross domestic product (GDP), concentrates approximately 700,000 workers and has been energized by some trends such as nearshoring. However, despite the dynamism and importance of this sector, its productivity is extremely low; This is due to different factors, among which the inadequate management of human capital stands out, specifically in the personnel selection and training processes, thus influencing productivity because the hired workers do not have the skills required to perform in productive processes and thus boost productivity. competitiveness of this sector. Therefore, the objective of the following research was to develop an agile and efficient methodology in the selection, hiring and training processes, based on Digital Transformation and Kanban that allowed reducing personnel turnover, improving productivity and boosting the competitiveness of a company. Textile SME based on Digital Transformation and the Lean Management methodology which allowed improving process times, internal customer satisfaction and increasing the productivity and competitiveness of the organization.
