"Utilization of Organic Waste into Electrical Energy for Small Company Needs with ANSYS Application"

Lighting in Indonesia is very much needed, especially in Tebing Tinggi City. There is a lot of waste in Tebing Tinggi City. To burn and dispose of it, the place is difficult to handle. Therefore, the Author made a decision to reduce waste and can be produced by the Tebing Tinggi City Community. The Author as a Researcher Creates Lighting Needs using small Electric Current Power, obtained from Organic Waste Processing in Tebing Tinggi City. This research was conducted by Processing waste using a Small Waste Shredder Machine Design. The process of this Waste Processing is to obtain fuel fluid that will drive the Electric drive engine later. The researcher here evaluates Hard Waste and Soft Waste using a cutting tool, which is evaluated using the Ansys Application. The conclusion obtained, this small waste shredder machine is designed and manufactured locally. This machine consists of a frame, a cutting shaft with two fixed knives, a funnel, and an electric motor mounted on the cutting shaft using two pulleys and a belt. When the user puts the waste such as compacted waste (maximum diameter 5 cm) through the funnel to the cutting tool which has a support with a clearance of 2 mm, at the same time the motor (2800 rpm) drives the cutting shaft using a pulley and belt, the knife cuts the branches into compost raw materials with a thickness of 2 mm and a length of 2-3 cm, the cut waste material comes out from the bottom outlet of the machine. This shredder is locally produced, so it is a good opportunity for small waste users to start a small business and/or make their own compost.
