Sterilization of medical instruments is a critical step in reducing pathogen risks in hospitals. This study aims to analyze the growth of microorganisms on medical instruments in the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) before and after the sterilization process. Factors such as temperature and humidity in the storage area are essential for maintaining medical instruments in a sterile condition. The microbiological testing methods employed include in vitro culture, microorganism identification through Gram staining, and automated identification systems using the Vitek 2 system. The results

This study analyzes the design of multilevel channels on the basin cover and charcoal lump PCM on the passive solar desalination basin. The multilevel channel on the basin cover aims to prevent the condensed steam from falling back into the basin due to the long water path to the water channel at the end of the basin cover. Charcoal chunks that function as PCM serve as an additional absorber to absorb heat on the water surface and the plate at the bottom of the basin. The study used three basins with the same basin area and materials. The basins are mono-channel basins (as control), long-chann

Paramedics face significant challenges in their demanding work environment that can negatively impact their psychological and physical well-being. This review synthesizes current knowledge on the occupational factors influencing paramedic health, focusing on shift work, mental health issues, exposure to critical incidents, and the profession's impact on physical health. Shift work is a major contributor to fatigue and sleep disturbances among paramedics, which can lead to reduced perceived well-being, mental health issues, and decreased job satisfaction. Paramedics also experience high rates o
