ADAPTATION OF THE ELASTOPLASTIC FILTRATION MODEL FOR UNSTABLE RESERVOIRS (FOR THE CONDITIONS OF THE WEST PALVANTASH FIELD)

It is well known that as reservoir pressure decreases, the rock framework undergoes elastoplastic deformation. Since carbonate reservoirs are less susceptible to this process compared to clastic reservoirs, this study focuses on modeling elastoplastic filtration processes. An elastoplastic filtration model for unstable reservoirs has been adapted to the conditions of the Western Palvantash field, specifically for the drainage reserves of Horizon III, which are associated with clastic reservoirs. The calculations are based on real data obtained from the Western Palvantash field.

Utilizing Geothermal Energy for a Heated Swimming Pool System in the Mataloko Geothermal Plant Area

Geothermal energy offers a clean, sustainable heat source for swimming pools, replacing conventional fossil-fueled heating [2]. This study presents the design of a geothermal heated swimming pool system in the Mataloko Geothermal Plant area (Flores, Indonesia). The goal is to utilize available geothermal heat to maintain a 30 °C pool for recreation and therapy, thereby providing community benefits and improving public perception of geothermal projects [1]. We detail the system components, heat transfer calculations, and design specifications needed to meet the pool’s thermal demands. Calc

Fokker-Planck Equation and Its Application in Production Function

A one-dimensional Fokker-Planck equation (FPE) with drift and diffusion coefficients depending on space variables is identified by a semigroup approach. The stationary solution u_s of the FPE induces a Hilbert space X, i.e., L^2 (a,b) with an inner product weighted by u_s. The backward Fokker-Planck operator A generates a C_0-semigroup in X. The well-posedness for the FPE follows the well-posedness for the Cauchy problem generated by A. The solution u is asymptotically stable to u_s as t→∞. Furthermore, if the ratio of the drift to diffusion coefficients is nondecreasing, then u is a nonne

Advancing Patient Safety and Care Quality via AI Integration in Nursing, Surgery, EMS, Anesthesia, Administration, Coding, and Psychology in University Hospitals

Patient safety in university hospitals remains a critical concern due to complex medical procedures, high patient acuity, and the persistent risk of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs). This narrative review examines literature from 2020 to 2024 to explore how artificial intelligence (AI) enhances collaboration among nursing, operations, anesthesia, medical coding, paramedics, and healthcare management to improve patient safety and reduce infection rates in university hospital settings. By synthesizing existing studies, it highlights each discipline’s unique contributions, the synergies enab

Development of discovery learning-based worksheets assisted by GeoGebra to improve students’ mathematical reasoning

Students' mathematical reasoning skills are still low. Topic that are considered difficult by students is geometry. In order for geometry learning to be meaningful, mathematical objects need to be visualized. GeoGebra is one of the dynamic and interactive software that can help students in exploring mathematical concepts. For this reason, it is necessary to create GeoGebra-assisted worksheets. The purpose of this research is to produce a worksheet with a discovery learning model assisted by GeoGebra that is valid, practical, and effective to improve students' mathematical reasoning.
