Photometric calibration of the Stellar Abundance and Galactic Evolution Survey (SAGES): Nanshan One-meter Wide-field Telescope g, r, and i band imaging data

Uniform and accurate flow calibration is the difficulty and core of large-field photometric survey data processing. This article uses LAMOST (Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope) DR7 spectral data, corrected Gaia EDR3 photometric data and Gaia photometric abundance data, using The Nanshan 1-meter large-field telescope was constructed using the spectrum-based SCR (Stellar Color Regression) method and the photometry-based SCR method (SCR′ method). There are more than 2.6 million standard stars with an accuracy of about 10 to 20 millimagnitude in the g, r, and i ban

Lattice plainification advances highly effective SnSe crystalline thermoelectrics

Thermoelectric technology has been widely used for key areas, including waste-heat recovery and solid-state cooling. We discovered tin selenide (SnSe) crystals with potential power generation and Peltier cooling performance. The extensive off-stoichiometric defects have a larger impact on the transport properties of SnSe, which motivated us to develop a lattice plainification strategy for defects engineering. We demonstrated that Cu can fill Sn vacancies to weaken defects scattering and boost carrier mobility, facilitating a power factor exceeding ~100 microwatts per centimeter per square k

Standards for odor pollution control in municipal solid waste landfills in China: Thoughts and suggestions

The monitoring of odour intensity, generated by a landfill area, is a difficult activity since it is a multi-source problem with discontinuous odour emissions. A modified sniffing team method is described here and applied to determine the main odour sources in a landfill located in Pomerania, Poland. Four consecutive test sessions were performed during the following months: August, December, April, and June. It was found that the main odour sources are as follows: a closed-chamber composting facility for leach storage; the site wherein technological operations associated with compost turn-o

Visible light promoted benzoylation of quinoxalinone-2(1H)ones

Quinoxalinone C-3 functionalized derivatives often have outstanding biological activities, although people have successfully used transition metals and strong oxidants to catalyze the reaction. Such compounds can be obtained in stages, but the conditions of these reactions are relatively harsh. In order to develop synthetic methods that conform to the concept of "green chemistry", other environmentally friendly and original methods. Preparation methods with high subconversion rates, photocatalytic and electrocatalytic synthesis strategies have also been developed in the C-3 functi

“Engraving in aprotic medium” strategy inspired by seawater pitting corrosion toward stabilized Zn anodes

The robustness of the cathodic protection systems utilized for offshore wind monopile foundations depends on the surface condition of the steel as well as the environmental conditions. This study investigated how preexisting biofouling and corrosion products on vertical uncoated steel surfaces extending from the intertidal zone to the buried zone affected the cathodic protection requirements when impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) was applied under tidal conditions. The comparative results between initially clean and previously fouled and corroded panel sets showed that the foulin
