Drilling operations are very important with an application rate of approximately 35% among all machining operations. The force, power and energy required for drilling are affected by factors such as drill diameter, drilling parameters, drill bit type, workpiece material. Most of the energy required for machining is converted into heat energy during the process. Heat is released due to the friction of the drilling bit with the chip and the workpiece. Due to this friction, tool wear also occurs. There are very few studies in the literature that reveal the relationship between tool temperature an

Resource competition is the most important driving factor in forming ecological structures at different scales. The self-organizing process of resource competition in plant ecosystems has three significant features: Characteristics, that is, the group has a medium number of individuals, huge individual differences, and only complex short-range interactions between individuals. This article starts from the perspective of ecosystem resources Starting from the general issues of competition and group structure, an ecological dynamics model that can explicitly describe resource competition among

Two popular stable restorer lines, CB 87 R and CB 174 R, were improved for blast resistance through marker-assisted back-cross breeding (MABB). The hybrid rice development program in South India extensively depends on these two restorer lines. However, these restorer lines are highly susceptible to blast disease. To improve the restorer lines for resistance against blasts, we introgressed the broad-spectrum dominant gene Pi54 into these elite restorer lines through two independent crosses. Foreground selection for Pi54 was done by using gene-specific functional marker, Pi54 MAS, at each bac

The extracellular matrix plays a key role in the development and regeneration of the nervous system, and abnormal changes in its mechanical properties are related to the occurrence of neurological diseases. are closely related to development. Neurons use their axon terminal growth cones to sense the mechanical properties of the extracellular matrix, and then produce directional migration behavior. This article establishes a cell A cell adhesion-dependent axon mechanical model was used to explore the molecular mechanism by which extracellular matrix stiffness affects the directional migratio

The goal of public security and safety under the concept of sustainable development has been transformed into the maximization of the comprehensive goal of economic, environmental, and social security and safety. The polycentric collaborative governance mode is a crucial approach for the reform of government regulation. Social–ecological resilience has become a typical paradigm in the field of risk governance. Polycentric collaborative governance and safety resilience are the foundation and booster of elevator safety governance. In this paper, we expound on the system elements and mec
