This paper illustrates the effectiveness of a newly developed unified optimal power flow (OPF) model for Voltage Source Converter-based High Voltage Direct Current (VSC-HVDC) transmission networks, implemented via the Teaching Learning Based Optimization (TLBO) algorithm. The power transmission network has experienced numerous changes, increasingly incorporating advanced HVDC technology for large-scale power transmission. This trend is anticipated to grow with escalating demands and the expanding availability of renewable energy sources. Detailed planning and efficient operation are crucial fo

The fascinating possibilities of Internet of Things (IoT) technology for automated solar panel cleaning systems are examined in this review study. Energy output is directly impacted by cleanliness, and conventional cleaning techniques present a major obstacle because of their labor-intensive nature, particularly for large-scale installations. The potential of IoT-based solutions to transform solar panel maintenance is examined in this research. To proactively monitor environmental conditions and optimize cleaning schedules, these cutting-edge systems make use of sensors, real-time data analysi

Optimal placement and sizing of Distribution Generation (DG) in the grid resolves various problems namely, power loss, voltage profile improvement, enhanced reliability, and system stability. In this study, as a form of fact and realistic constraint, the positions of DG units in standard IEEE 30 bus networks were selected in advance for this study. An optimization technique called the African Vultures Optimizer Algorithm (AVOA) is suggested to determine the ideal sizes of these DG units as well as the best-linked buses with the DG units via transmission lines. The cases of two and three DG uni

Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) expect their suppliers to use digital technologies to enhance supply chain transparency, agility, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Implementing Industry 4.0 in the small and medium enterprises (SME) sector is crucial for OEMs as it helps align their strategic goals of digital transformation throughout the supply chain. Though research on Industry 4.0 has exponentially risen in the last decade, there is limited research on SME integration in customer (OEM) supply chains. The present research is novel and exploratory. The study conducts a perception sur

Studies in 2021-2023 under conditions of unstable moisture in the Central Forest-Steppe of Ukraine revealed a positive effect of urea-ammonia mixture (UAN) on the yield and sowing properties of seeds of maternal lines of maize hybrids of different maturity groups (P6/240, P5/320, P4/440). Based on the research results, it was found that the application of 80 l/ha of UAN in the V10 phase increased seed yield by 10.6-11.9% compared to the control. The highest level of seed yield of the maternal line of the early-ripening hybrid P6/240 (6.16 t/ha) by 22.5%, the mid-ripening hybrid P5/320 (6.20 t/
