Examining the Impact of Diesel Fuel Density Variation on the Performance of Compression Ignition Engines Using the LOTUS Simulation Program

The densities of diesel fuel ratings indicate various crucial factors within the fuel, such as its composition, energy content, and combustion characteristics. The efficacy of diesel engines was evaluated in this study via simulations and experimental comparisons. The study aimed to assess the impact of varying densities of diesel fuel on the performance of diesel engines. The experimental investigation utilized the cutting-edge CI engine, which featured four strokes, a multi-cylinder design, and a fuel system employing indirect infusion with a constant compression ratio. In contrast, the theo

Pneumonia Identification on Chest X-ray Image using K-Means Based Active Contour

Pneumonia is a condition in which the lower respiratory tract is invaded by infective microorganisms, and this is the result of a complex event. The causative microorganisms are bacteria, respiratory viruses and fungi. The purpose of this study is to propose an image processing and artificial intelligence-based approach in identifying pneumonia. This approach uses active contour which is then identified using K-Means. This research phase is divided into several experiments, where each experiment applies several hybrid methods. Basically all experiments go through the same stages, namely prepro

Analysis of the Flame and Spray Characteristics of Renewable Fuel in a Semi-Industrial Boiler

This study investigates the spray and combustion characteristics of a diesel and biodiesel fuel blend in a semi-industrial boiler. The principal objectives are to gain knowledge about combustion dynamics and improve the efficacy of alternative fuels. This research inquiry concerns biodiesel blends, with a particular emphasis on evaluating the effects of distinct blends and particular biodiesel varieties, including Dill, on flame temperatures and discharge patterns. The results indicate that the average flame temperature increases when biodiesel-type Dill is incorporated into a BD60% blend comp

Investigation of CO removal from the Exhaust Diesel Engine through a Hollow Fiber Membrane Module

The population and economy are expanding, as is the demand for energy in numerous industries. However, most energy sources still originate from non-renewable sources, particularly in the transportation and industrial sectors. As a result, there will be an increase in the generation of exhaust emissions, such as carbon monoxide (CO). One of the primary sources of these dangerous substances is diesel fuel. Burning the diesel fuel can release harmful environmental pollutants and affect human health. To effectively and affordably improve air quality, gas removal technology is required. A hollow me
