Properties and microscopy analysis of encapsulated spray dried grey oyster mushroom (Pleurotus pulmonarius) powder culture from temperature effect

Spray drying technique is a useful innovation for liquid spore culture and an assurance of the powder form of culture can be revived is an important factor of drying. The effect of variuos inlet temperature (80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140 & 150oC) on encapsulated spores culture of grey oyster was studied and the powder properties (moisture content, water activity, hygroscopicity) were analyzed using two types of protectant materials (10% maltodextrin and 10% of Arabic gum). At 80oC, the highest moisture content obtained were 5.867% and 5.9333% and the lowest value were 3.267% and 3.333% at 15

Outer-Connected Locating Total Domination in Graphs

In this paper, we established some properties of outer-connected locating total dominating sets in graphs. Moreover, we characterized graphs with outer-connected locating total domination number equal to 2 and those graphs with outer-connected locating total domination number equal to n.

A study of porosity, crystallinity index, and functional group of coconut dreg by pulsed electric fields duration of contact effect

This research aimed to analyze porosity based on observations using FE-SEM, crystal index, crystal size based on XRD observations, and functional groups based on FT-IR observations of coconut dreg cells due to variations in the length of pulsed electric fields (PEF) contact. Research has been done using a completely randomized design approach, and the data was analyzed using R Studio. Coconut dreg is a waste product from processing coconut into coconut milk, which is produced quite a lot, especially in West Sumatra Province, Indonesia. PEF is a non-thermal physical treatment with relatively lo

Selection of the joining process to fabricate Spherical Storage Tanks Using analytic hierarchic process

Manufacturing assembly selection are challenging due to numerous joining process and physical and economic factors, often relying on experienced engineers and limited processes. So, the purpose of this study is to present a case study on the topic of the se-lection of joining process.” Using a program programmed via Visual Basic Access, which consists of two stages, it chooses the type of joining operation from among many proposed operations for a specific purpose and under specific conditions. get up the first stage involves excluding processes that are not fully compatible with the require

A Genetic Algorithm Data-Driven Approach for Middle-Mile Delivery Optimization

This paper proposes an integrated approach using the Nearest Neighbor Heuristic (NNH), historical delivery data analysis, and Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) with Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) within a Genetic Algorithm (GA) to optimize routes for middle-mile delivery (MMD) in the Closed-Open Mixed Vehicle Routing Problem (COMVRP). By leveraging delivery history and managerial input, this method facilitates optimal route generation, aiding logistics planning and decision-making. Focused on middle-mile distr
