Application of Artificial Intelligence in Corrosion Research, Part II: Corrosion of Steel

Steel corrosion presents a significant challenge to the durability and safety of infrastructure worldwide, with profound economic and safety implications. Traditional methods for corrosion detection and prediction often fall short in terms of accuracy, efficiency, and scalability, necessitating the exploration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI). This paper provides a comprehensive review of AI applications in steel corrosion research from 2010 to 2024, focusing on detection and prediction methodologies. The review covers AI-driven techniques, analyzing their strength

BASICS OF ENGINEERING GEOLOGICAL MAPPING TERRITORY OF SOUTH-WESTERN UZBEKISTAN IN CONNECTION WITH IRRIGATION DEVELOPMENT

The article discusses the principles of assessing the magnitude of irrigation impact on the territory of South-Western Uzbekistan, and methods for compiling engineering-geological maps. Methodological foundations for medium-scale engineering-geological mapping have been developed based on formational and lithological-genetic analysis of the structure of the territory, taking into account epigenesis and hypergenesis. Certain questions about the principles and methods of engineering geological mapping of both irrigated and rain-fed zones are considered, the composition and content of various spe

Geometrical Solutions Using Symmetries to Solve Wave Equation on Torus

In this paper determined the Lie’s symmetries of wave equation on torus. Symmetry algebras are found by using Lie’s classical method. We use different symmetries to obtain similarity reductions of wave equation by exploiting these symmetries, we perform similarity transformations, a powerful reduction for obtaining two new solutions of wave equation on torus. We investigated the new solutions of wave equation on a specific geometry surface torus.

Regenerative braking on ABS during panic using a flywheel as a medium for harvesting energy

Regenerative braking in the braking system adds value to the total efficiency of the vehicle, especially an electric car. Driving style also determines the effectiveness of the regenerative braking system. In panic braking conditions, the antilock braking system (ABS) provides stability in the braking process. This study varies the ABS piston frequency from 10 to 50 Hz to obtain an effective braking process and high-power output. The flywheel was installed as a medium to harvest energy during the braking process. The results obtained ABS piston frequency of 10 Hz provides the highest braking s
